The Gantt control can be used to graphically represent the chronological evolution and level of completeness of items (e.g activities, tasks) in a list. Each item is displayed on the left having specified the starting time and duration, while on the right the corresponding time lapse is visible so that tracking each item's evolution compared with the others is easily done.
Data content is usually provided by a data object (e.g. business entity) which needs to be linked to this graphical object using a Data link in the Links view of the Layout Designer.
